  • Our malt forward German lager delivers a delicious bready grain flavour with hints of honey sweetness. A helping of German Spalt hops ensures the finish is crisp and refreshing. Poured straight from the tank – making it the freshest beer around.

  • A balanced pale ale, this beer was originally one of our owner Dan's homebrew recipes. Citra and Amarillo hops give a perfect blend of citrus and tropical fruit - this beer smells almost as good as it tastes. All those hops are balanced with a biscuity malt backbone.

  • This classic German Pils is the ultimate expression of the brewer’s craft. Good brewing technique and simple, quality ingredients come together to deliver something subtle yet surprisingly complex.

The malt bill for this beer is 100% organic NSW pilsner. We also use just a single type of German hop. The result is a light, crisp body and floral, minty hop bitterness.

  • This traditional Bavarian wheat beer is an excellent breakfast beer (and it’s also highly delightful in the afternoon, evening and at night). In addition to the mouthfeel and flavour of the wheat malt, the specialised yeast produces wonderful banana and clove flavours.

  • A classic American IPA, the Villain a beer with unique – and decidedly crafty – character. Although this is a stronger beer than most of our range, it’s still eminently drinkable thanks to the balance between malt, hops and alcohol. Come to the taproom for a pint, and sneak home with a few cheeky cans to enjoy under cover of darkness.

  • The Juicy Bear (say it in a kiwi accent…) is a NZ hazy pale brewed with exclusively NZ malts and hops. A selection of @gladfieldmalt gives the beer its golden colour and creamy mouthfeel. We then heavily hopped it with Riwaka, Nectaron and Superdelic, which combine to deliver the juicy fruit explosion of aroma and flavour that NZ hops are world-famous for.

  • We wanted to do a mid-strength lager for a while, but it’s a style that can be, well, a little boring (think anything with ‘crisp’ in the name).

Then our brewer Alex had a moment of inspiration - let’s do a lower-ABV Czech pilsner! The traditional Saaz hops provide a classic peppery, spicey hop character, and we utilised a decoction mash to boost the malt flavour and depth.

    Sessionable? Totally. Boring? Definitely not.

  • Our fruity Extra Pale Ale is the perfect summer drink. Mosaic and Enigma hops bring grassy, citrus and peppery flavours. Combined with a hint of bitterness and a crisp finish, it’s the perfect refreshment on a balmy village day.

  • Our biggest beer ever, this is a classic American West Coast Double IPA. Double dry-hopped with Azacca, Cascade and Centennial, it’s high in bitterness and packed with piney, citrus character. A gentle helping of crystal malts gives some body and sweetness to balance out all that hoppiness (and alcohol).

  • Brewed in secret for our founder Dan’s fourtieth birthday, the base of this beer is an American-style pale ale hopped with Pacifica and Idaho 7. We then added heaps of blood orange peel and flesh (all painstakingly de-pithed by our wonderful bar crew!).

The result is a surprisingly light and citrusy beer that goes down a treat on a summer’s day.

  • For our summer sour we have taken our tried and trusted wheat-based sour recipe and loaded it with an unnecessarily large amount of fruit; 100kgs of mango puree and 80kgs of passionfruit puree. The result is all tropical fruit juice up front but with a refreshing, tart finish. It’s basically the adult version of Frosty Fruits.

  • Brewed once a year to celebrate Oktoberfest in true Bavarian style, our Märzen gets the party started. A bigger-bodied lager than our 2111, this tasty character is straight outta Munich (via Gladesville). Deep amber in colour and with pure, slightly sweet malt notes, it’s fresh and caramel-intense. Pairs perfectly with pretzels. Prost!
