  • Our malt forward German lager delivers a delicious bready grain flavour with hints of honey sweetness. A helping of German Spalt hops ensures the finish is crisp and refreshing. Poured straight from the tank – making it the freshest beer around.

  • A balanced pale ale, this beer was originally one of our owner Dan's homebrew recipes. Citra and Amarillo hops give a perfect blend of citrus and tropical fruit - this beer smells almost as good as it tastes. All those hops are balanced with a biscuity malt backbone.

  • A red Belgian-style sour ale with a solid helping of dark red and sour red cherries. In this beer, the red malt base creates a lovely caramel/toffee backing in perfect harmony with the deep & rich fruit notes from the cherries. Through fermentation, mild red wine notes have been produced, lending character inspired by historical styles such as the Flanders Red Ales of old.‍ ‍

  • This traditional Bavarian wheat beer is an excellent breakfast beer (and it’s also highly delightful in the afternoon, evening and at night). In addition to the mouthfeel and flavour of the wheat malt, the specialised yeast produces wonderful banana and clove flavours.

  • A classic American IPA, the Villain a beer with unique – and decidedly crafty – character. Although this is a stronger beer than most of our range, it’s still eminently drinkable thanks to the balance between malt, hops and alcohol. Come to the taproom for a pint, and sneak home with a few cheeky cans to enjoy under cover of darkness.

  • Following the success of our Hazy Days mid-strength (which has won a gold medal and every competition we’ve entered it into), we decided to brew a full-strength beer based on the same recipe.

Boosting the ABV up to 5.2% allows us to develop more mouthfeel and, most importantly, increase the double dry hop to give even more juicy tropical fruit flavour.

  • Our mid-strength may only be 3.5% ABV but it sure doesn't taste like it! This beer is all about massive tropical fruit flavour and aroma, thanks to a double dry hop. Perfect for long summer days. Picking up gold medals at Australia’s two major beer competitions, we’re proud to say this is one of the best mid-strengths in the country.

  • We wanted to do a mid-strength lager for a while, but it’s a style that can be, well, a little boring (think anything with ‘crisp’ in the name).

Then our brewer Alex had a moment of inspiration - let’s do a lower-ABV Czech pilsner! The traditional Saaz hops provide a classic peppery, spicey hop character, and we utilised a decoction mash to boost the malt flavour and depth.

    Sessionable? Totally. Boring? Definitely not.

  • This is a special beer for many reasons. Firstly, it’s a ‘wet hop’ beer in which we used freshly harvested hops (rather than dried), only available once a year.

Secondly the beer features 100% NSW ingredients. We wanted to showcase the very best local ingredients, so we sourced:

🌿 Fresh harvest hops from @ryefield_hops (Bemboka)
    🌾
    Organic malts from @voyager_craft_malt (Griffith)
    🔬 Sp
    ecialty yeast from @mogwaiculture (Wollongong)

The result is an unashamedly full-flavoured pale ale.

Oh, and about the name: “swipes” was a derogatory name for the locally-produced beer in the very early days of Australian beer production. By all accounts, the beer was terrible, in large part because of the poor quality of local ingredients. Safe to say, things have come a long way. This is Swipes (done) Right!

  • Anything Gose has officially landed and yep, we threw the spreadsheets out the window for this one.

A crisp, tart sour wheat ale brewed with salt, coriander seed, native lemon myrtle (straight from brewer Alex’s garden 🌿) and a very ambitious 75kg of hand-prepped grapefruit. Was it excessive? Absolutely. Worth it? One sip says yes.

Bright, dry, zesty and ridiculously refreshing — this is the kind of beer that disappears faster than you planned.

Perfect for hot Aussie days, long sessions and anyone who loves a little chaos in their glass.

  • The Juicy Bear (say it in a kiwi accent…) is a NZ hazy pale brewed with exclusively NZ malts and hops. A selection of @gladfieldmalt gives the beer its golden colour and creamy mouthfeel. We then heavily hopped it with Riwaka, Nectaron and Superdelic, which combine to deliver the juicy fruit explosion of aroma and flavour that NZ hops are world-famous for.‍ ‍

  • As with all good stouts, this beer is rich and full of roasted coffee and dark chocolate notes. So what’s this ‘oatmeal’ thing all about? No porridge involved, we promise. It simply means we add oats to the mash alongside the malted and roast barley. The oats give the beer a silky mouthfeel and provide a beautiful sweetness to balance out the bitterness of those dark malts.
